Meeting the Needs of Children with English as an Additional Language

New two-day course for primary teachers exploring strategies and approaches for supporting children with EAL through key texts and authors, using quality children’s literature within a rich literacy curriculum. Explore the importance of valuing, recognising and celebrating Identity and what this can look like in practice. Practical ideas and creative teaching approaches to engage and support the learning of children with EAL.

The course is run by the Centre for Literacy in Primary Education at CLPE, Webber Street, London SE1 8QW and the second training day will take place on 30 January 2017, 9.30am–3.30pm.
